How to Delete iCloud Account Without Password on iPhone 7

How do I log out of an iCloud account on my iPhone 7? It wants a password to log out but it's an old account that we don't know the password or any info associated with that account. Is there any way to remove this account from my iPhone without password?

It should give you a hint on what account is used, like look at your App Store all the way to the bottom, it usually shows the account. Or go to iCloud on the device and it will show the account. Due do the new security settings in iOS 8 and up, you will have to have the account and password. You will have to recover your Apple ID at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201487
