Urgent!! Can anybody tell me how to downgrade iOS 9.1 to 9.0.2 firmware. I just want to restore my mobile since I have some issues in applications and slowness. I just want to reset my device without updating 9.1. I'm currently on 9.0.2 jailbroken and happy with it.

When I connect my device with iTunes and click restore - it just keep on asking me to update 9.1. Can anybody tell me is that possible to have 9.0.2 with the reset?

I have two questions:

  1. Is there any way to restore my iPhone with iOS 9.0.2 IPSW firmware?
  2. If I update to iOS 9.1 Can I downgrade from iOS 9.1 to 9.0.2 for jailbreak?
  3. If I click factory reset - will I lose my jailbreak?

Please help!

Hello Mike. I will answer your questions:

  1. You can use Cydia Imactor to Semi-restore your iPhone to iOS 9.0.2 version.
  2. If you update to 9.1 version then you can't downgrade to iOS 9.0.1 version.
  3. If you click factory reset, this may will not fix the software problems you have.
I recommend you to use Cydia impactor or manually remove the tweaks / apps to fix the problem with your device. Please Try the impactor and post a comment if it worked for you.
